According to § 93 SGB III, the Federal Employment Agency requires an external and independent check of your project before the startup grant is approved. The case worker at the employment office does not decide on the economic figures themselves – they rely on the expertise of an "Expert Authority" (Fachkundige Stelle).

After a successful check, we stamp and sign the official form. You can now submit it to your case worker on time.

Important answers regarding the viability certificate.

Only officially recognized 'expert authorities' are allowed to certify the viability of a business plan. These include Chambers of Industry and Commerce (IHK), Chambers of Crafts, banks, and certified management consultants like Konzept Consulting.
If you are starting a business out of unemployment and want to apply for the startup grant from the Federal Employment Agency (or entry money from the Jobcenter), this certificate is legally mandatory (§ 93 SGB III).
Yes. If you have already created your business plan yourself, we check it for plausibility, profitability, and official requirements. After a successful check or necessary optimizations, we issue the official certificate.
As soon as we have received all necessary documents (complete business and financial plan, CV), the check and issuance of the certificate usually take place within 3 to 5 working days.
