An AVGS (Activation and Placement Voucher) provides job seekers with 100% free, professional startup consulting. The costs are fully covered by the Employment Agency or Jobcenter. The goal is to safely guide you into self-employment.
Generally, recipients of unemployment benefit I (ALG 1) after 6 weeks of unemployment are entitled. Recipients of Bürgergeld (formerly ALG 2) or non-beneficiaries can receive the voucher at the discretion of their advisor.
We accompany you in one-on-one coaching through all phases of starting a business: From the business idea to the creation of a bank- and authority-compliant business plan including a financial plan, as well as preparation for bank meetings and funding applications.
No. If you realize during the coaching that self-employment is not the right path for you, you do not have to repay the costs for the AVGS coaching.
Both are possible. We offer our coachings both completely digitally via video conference and in person at our Cologne offices.
